June 19th-Animal lab clean up (mandatory for those who raised animals.)
June 19th-noon to 4:00pm or June 20th 9:00am to 4:00pm Record book day, everyone has to attend and those who raised animals for the stock show will receive their check after, you will need to sign up for 1 to 2 hour slots.
SAE Visit-schedule at least two visits for Mrs. Giffing to visit your project, majority of the visits will be made during the month of July and the first part of August.
Record Book Day-August 7-8, 2012 8:00am to 5:00pm. Its easier to do it on that day than the deadline for your degree application.
Outstanding Results at FFA State Competition
Springville High’s FFA traveled to Logan, Utah, on April 24-25 to attend and compete in the FFA State Career Development Events. This statewide event is held to test students’ skills in certain career areas including agricultural communications, meat judging, floriculture, vet tech, horse judging, poultry judging, and dairy. Many hours of time and energy went into the preparation for these events.
Leading this next year as president will be Amberly Bradford and her vice presidents that will be assisting her are Darryl Barnes over community, Christina Nolasco over chapter and Colton Carroll over student the rest of the team consists of Caitlin Dinkel as secretary, Taelor Craudell as treasurer, Ashley Endicott as reporter and finally Austin Weight sentinel. This is gonna be another great year in FFA with another amazing team to lead us.
